⚫︎ Story of Development

In 1982, a young and passionate President Yoshihiro Karakane stepped into Ringstar. The market at the time he witnessed was dominated by wooden and steel tool boxes, each material having significant drawbacks.

Wooden tool boxes were vulnerable to rain, while steel tool boxes were heavy and prone to rust.

In 1985, Mr. Karakane flew to the vast U.S. in order to breathe new life into the market and came across an epoch-making plastic tool box.

However, he realized that American-made tool boxes could not meet the needs of Japanese craftsmen. With a passionate desire to "create the best tool box for Japanese craftsmen," he started his own development at Ringstar.

The industry's first "SUPER BOX" series made of ultra-impact-resistant polypropylene was born. This "SUPER BOX" was an epoch-making product that overturned conventional concepts and caused a new sensation in the industry.
